Trumpeter Swan

This amazing swan is trumpeting! Lee took this photo at the Swedetown ponds in Calumet, Michigan. Spending time with the swans was rewarded with a few great pictures. Swans will quickly fly off and make a loud sound trumpet sound, if you get too close. This swan's trumpet could be heard all the way to the water tower. (You will only understand this distance if you ever saw the swans at the Swedetown ponds.)

PS- I have a metal print with one of the swans on my living room wall. It reminds me of my hometown!
